Kamyar Enshayan, Director, CEEE

Kamyar EnshayanKamyar Enshayan is the director of the Center for Energy & Environmental Education at UNI.  His training has been in mechanical engineering and agricultural engineering.  Kamyar works with students, faculty members, and community leaders to translate science and evidence into tangible action at the community scale.  His areas of work include energy conservation, community food security, and improving environmental health of children in schools, parks and childcare facilities.  He has served on the Cedar Falls City Council, and in 2008 received the Sustainable Agriculture Achievement Award from Practical Farmers of Iowa.
